Diary of Anne Frank

In our homeroom class, the whole class was reading about the diary of a young girl Anne Frank. I didn't get the to hear the first start of the story because I have different classes at that time, but luckily my friends told me what are the important things that happen in it. Which that's why I catch up, and heard the middle part of the story, until the end. At first we all have to answer some questions that relate to the pages we were at, but we didn't get to finish answering all of it because we don't much time left if we keep reading them. So we skip some bits of the story, so at the end we get to blog it and do some other activity about it. The Diary of Anne Frank is an amazing book, because I get to learn some things about a teenager life. Because Anne is just a 13 years old girl, who was stuck with the same people for 2 years. It was like when we were in lock down but the difference is that we only stay for a month, but she stayed in a small place eating a small amount of foods,and staying with the people she actually some how don't like based on their personality. 

Summary: 

So on her thirteenth birthday, Anne Frank receive a beautiful diary book from her parents. She was really excited, because she can write all of her secret and thoughts about the things that is happening to her life. Anne Frank started writing her daily events, her thoughts, school grades, boys all that. Just within a month, her entire life changes as she was Jews in German Holland. The Frank family was terrified for their lives, because when Anne's Margot is called to appear to be called up and go to the concentration camp, that's why the family started and go hiding. They hide into a little section of Anne's father's office, and they go behind the bookcases .Which was called the " Secret Annex" in the Thursday of July 9 1942. They lived there for 2 years, the family lived with other people which is Mr and Mrs van Daan and their son Peter ( which is older than Anne). Later on Mr Dussel ( an elderly dentist ) which why Anne has to share bedroom with her. Anne grows in her knowledge of politics and literature, that's why she puts a lot of effort writing to her diary. When she started growing further and further, she didn't hangout with the other people more often. But she started hanging out in the attic with Peter, around those time she started falling and dreaming about the boy she love. And also there's a big change for Anne and that is when the war seems to be ending, so she started editing her diary with vigour and excitement. Her diary describe the struggles of her life, and there are her the diary ends. Then after two months after Anne's fifteen birthday, and after 2 days her last diary entry. The Secret Annex is raided, that happened on August 4,1944 .

I would recommend this book, because it was really interesting and anyone who is interested in historical, war, mystery type of book. I really like this book, because there are a lot of fun mystery stuff happening in the book. I would love to read another book about Anne Frank, because she is type of girl who is brave and can take care of the situation really well she is really inspiring. She is kind, humble, lively. 

Science

 In our Science class, we were doing different experiment everyday we have it. The first one was when the science teacher did something fun in front of us, and that is doing is putting a dry ice into a -78 degrees Celsius water. And that show a chemical reaction by showing some white smoke rising in the conical flask. They did it in every different temperature, like warm, cold. Sublimation it means something will come to solid to a gas immediately. The second thing we did was an experiment of hands in icy water, the aim for that is to know what are the different feelings when you put your hands in a water full of ice, and for 20 seconds and secondly put it to a normal water, then tell how you felt. Then a hot water, when we were doing that I was with my groups of 4. every single one of us, get to experience doing it and we also have different job and that is one of us need to record, and one is need to count.

Then nextly we did something about melting ice in tin foil, the aim was to know how does it take to melt the ice in different object. We can work alone or work with a buddy, I plan to work with my buddy and she did was to help me record of how long will it take to be fully melt. By just holding them, we change jobs because it was freezing. And then at the end our record was 5:46.34. I had fun doing this activity and I was happy about it because I get to learn things about science.
