I'm focusing of my Information Report you need to put some interesting facts and her is my .

Information about Polar bears:

INTRODUCTION

Kamusta and Magandang umaga my name is Lhysette. And  I’m here  to tell you some information about the Polar Bears. Did you know that the Polar bear is the largest carnivore ( this means it’s a meat eater ) that lives on land.

I am going to be telling you where Polar bears live, what they eat, how big they are and some other interesting facts that I found on Google.

Polar bears live in the Arctic which is at the very top of the world . The average winter temperature is -34 degrees but it does get as cold as -68 and warms up to about 8 degrees and summer.

Polar bear eat mainly seals but also feed on carcuses of beluga whales. And the baby polar bears eat is bearded seals but when the other food is unavailable for Polar bears will just eat about any animal they can get .

Male polar bears can weigh up to 680 kg but the female is usually only half the size of the male. Polar bears have a 10 cm layer of blubber ( blubber means fat) under their skin to keep them warm.

The Polar bear has a excellent sense of the smell, with ability to detect the seals nearly a mile away (1.6km)

Polar bears can reach some speed up to 40 kph means of KPH is (Kilometers per hour ) or (25 MPH means Miles per hour)  on the land 10 Kph (6 Mph ) in water.

The polar bear have a black skin and although their fur appears white, Polar bear skin is actually transparent.

Polar bears nose is the powerful it can smell of some seal on the ice 20 miles (32 kilometer) away , sniff out of the seal den that has been covered with the snow.

The most important habitats of polar bears are the edges of the pack of ice where currents and the wind is interact , and refreezing matrix of the ice patches and some leads. These are the areas of where polar bears can find the greatest number of the seals.

How dangerous is a Polar bears ?

They will also feed on carrion and also the polar bears eat some vegetable matter, and berries roots at the late of summer.

WARNING 🚫: Polar bear is aggressive and extremely super dangerous for the people

How long with the polar bear live for?

Polar bears can live in 20-30years but only small amount of the polar bears is 18-15years. And polar bears has lived in 48 years old but in the wild thing the longest living Polar bears was to be know 32 years old.  

Polar bears can grow up to if the female grow up is (2 meters ) and male is (1.5 meters ) .

And polar bears live into the many country like

Russia

Canada

Norway

Alaska and Greenland

Mythical Creature

 Kumusta, today we're learning about Mythical Creatures. I'm talking about the legend creature of the sea. Do you know why I pick the mermaid?...because I want to know more about the sea creature, we pick our own creature I did this blog post because I want you to know about the World creature! Do you know?because there is a lot of legend creature like Pegasus is a cute looking but the other images the Pegasus is scary picture!.. When you search it. Maybe you can pick fairy is beautiful creature and you can find a lot of fact about the fairy creature. 

We did a slide that about Mythical creature and the end of the slide you have to find your own keyword and your information that you all know the meaning of the word that you pick, Miss D said you can't not always find some information if you always looking at "Wikipedia" you can look of some blog that talking about that creature that you pick, if you see some thing that only for the adult here is my word that I cant tell you " Close your Chromebook and go to your teacher so the teacher can block the page.

Road patrol Training

  Ohh hey guys Good Morning, I'm here for my another blog post I'm talking about my road patrol training.  Last week me and  other years 6/5's wants to be road patroller training with the police. I'm going to tell you what she teaches us to be safe when you are on the road 

Here the safety word that you need.

      You need to listen first to police when she is talking to your instruction, if you are not listen you don't know what to do.   

  You need to be serious don't laugh if you laugh you will not know what your partner is saying .

  You have your strong voice so your partner can understand what are you saying 

   Try your best for you to pass to be a road patroller.

  Do not forget when you're on the road don't laugh be focus because to keep children safe when they walking home or cross the road.

STATISTICS

 Last week me and the whole of Ako Ngathi talked about Statistics. Statistics is about gathering data. I'm here to show you some different types of graphs that you can use to do your own Graphing.  Here is the different types of graph, there is some Data that can summarise your graph that is.

Analysing Data - is to be more aware when I read the graph correctly and you should put it in true question not false. 
Summarising Data - is when you collect by making your own graphs and this is  graph important because when you make graph you have to put your labels in it ,if you don't have labels on your graph you can't understand your graph and it's not gonna make sense . That's the two Data can help you to make your Graph.

This time we're gonna talk about the different types of Graph.
Bar Graph - we use this graph because to notice the gaps between groups and the groups of data is to use different coloured of bars different types of fruits.
Line Graph - a line shows how change in a sequences this is very good graph because of how the Line Graph changes over time.
Stem and leaf Graph - a stem and leaf graph can also use sequences like line graph, stem and leaf graph are using for quickly organising a lots of data with a lots of number.

This time we're finishing our own Graph and here is my own graph that I can Show you.

DIGITAL IGNITION...

Digital Learning   

Kumusta, this year the year 6 student did the Digital Ignition in this time we already finished our learning at Digital Ignition and Colour coding with Mrs Lyn who is teaching at helping us to learn and to use the Binary Number that has a meaning of On and Off. 

Over the last few weeks we have been going to the hall to learn about Digital Ignition with Lyn. 

We learnt about Binary numbers. We learnt what numbers were on and off. On is green. If the number is 1 then it is on and if it is 0 it is off and the colour is purple. When we did the colour coding we used a robot that could be connected to your device. When we made the algorithm we needed to do the colour coding to move our robot. I'm happy because I understood how to do the coding clearly and I now understand why that sometimes when I search on google doesn't work because you need to be specific in your search so the computer can understand specifically.

I feel great that I have the knowledge that computers only understand Binary Numbers and that can help  me when I using devices. We had so much fun to doing coding.

WEATHER DLO..

 Hi guys, last week we did our D.l.O about Water Cycle, and this time I'm gonna show you my D.l.O about what I'm learning on the Water Cycle D.L.O. We have been working on it since last week and now we have finished it. When I made my Weather D.L.O I put some facts and pictures into my D.L.O. Cyclone Gita

Hi I'm back for another blog. Where here to talk about Cyclone Gita and its strong winds and heavy rain that caused floods to Tonga.

Cyclone Gita is a frightening hurricane that hit Tonga on the night of February 12, 2018. Population have been impacted by the Cyclone Gita is the strongest cyclone to have struck the island nation in its history.

At first I thought that Cyclone Gita would bring heavy rain to us and I got frighten when I heard about it.

From my experience I was just a little scared because overnight it was only raining and there was no wind. In morning it was so  cold. So thats why me all of my classmates couldn't play outside for 2 days but it was okay because on the second day the sun come out at lunch time. So i'm happy because the sun already come out.
